The Life Safety Code 101 was developed to achieve a minimal level of protection of life from the peril of smoke, fire and toxic fumes. It applies to all structures and all types of occupancies. Required safeguards will depend on the type of occupancy, the size and configuration of the building, and the maximum occupant capacity of the building spaces. This webinar will focus on basic guidelines needed to evaluate the insured’s life safety measures during a loss control survey. This includes adequate means of emergency egress, and other safeguards such as emergency exit lighting, sprinkler systems and fire alarms, self-closing doors and so on. The webinar will be approximately 1 hour in length.
